Cherokee Avenue Bike Lane Barricades Here are some updates from the Atlanta Department of Transportation regarding the protected bike lane along Cherokee Avenue as part of the Mayor’s Action Plan for Safer Streets.

  Updates on Cherokee Bike Lane As part of the Mayor’s Action Plan for Safer Streets, ATLDOT is excited to announce plans to install an interim bike lane condition on Cherokee Ave.

Cherokee Avenue Bike Lane Update An update from the Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) as they continue to implement a protected bike lane along Cherokee Avenue as part of the Mayor's Action Plan for Safer Streets.

  What is the Beltline SSD??? An SSD (Special Service District) is a tax district where commercial and multi-family property owners in the Atlanta BeltLine Planning Area pay slightly more in property taxes to fund the Atlanta BeltLine trail completion. Single family homeowners are not part of the district. 
As this affects more than half of Grant Park, we urge you to learn and understand more.

Ford Mask Day at Zoo Atlanta Ford Motor Company Fund is teaming up with local nonprofits and Ford dealerships to distribute over 3.9 million medical-grade face masks in neighborhoods across the Southeastern U.S. Zoo Atlanta will be a distribution site on Thursday, February 18, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or while supplies last. During this time, visitors and community residents will be able to receive 20 disposable face masks packaged in pre-sealed bags.

Cherokee Avenue Parking Lot The 800 Cherokee Avenue parking lot is now a paid parking lot. Fees are $3/hr or $12/day, managed by the Atlanta Fulton County Recreational Authority. For any questions, email [email protected].
