Catalytic converter thefts

The week of January 23rd we had reports of at least two Grant Park neighbors having converters stolen from Toyota 4-runners.  Both thefts were Broyles-Glenwood streets.
 
One victim did some research and found a device that might help deter the theft at Cat-loc.com and catclamp.com.
 
For those residents who have a cars parked on the street, it might be worth researching these devices. Honda Element and CRVare 2 vehicles that have been mentioned as targets.
